Vehicle Service ("the app," "we," "us") lets you scan and store your vehicle service reports. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

When you sign in with Apple, we store:

When you scan a vehicle service report, we store:

If you use the in-app chat, your questions are sent, along with your own stored report data, to answer questions about your vehicle service history. The assistant only answers from your report data and says so when an answer isn't in it.

We do not collect payment information, location data, or contacts.

How we use this information

Solely to operate the app: to store and show you your own scanned reports, to power the chat feature, and to identify your account. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.

Third-party services

We use Firebase (Google) for authentication and to store your report data, Google Cloud Storage to store the documents you upload, and Google Vertex AI to read and extract data from your documents and to power the chat feature. Apple's own privacy policy governs the Sign in with Apple process itself.

Data deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the app's Settings screen. This permanently removes your uploaded documents, extracted report data, and account.
